Crafted to honour the 50th anniversary of Sir John Walker's legendary 3:49.4 mile, this special edition single malt Whisky is a tribute to greatness. Distilled and barreled by Good George in 2019 in New Zealand's Waikato region, it captures the spirit of endurance, excellence, and national pride.

Proceeds support John Walker's 'Find Your Field of Dreams' foundation, helping young Kiwis discover their potential through sport and recreation. This very limited release celebrates a record that inspired generations and a foundation that continues to fuel the dreams of the next.

Aesthetic

A rich, burnished amber that catches the light like late-afternoon sun on a trophy medal. Viscous legs trail slowly down the glass, hinting at its weight and age. There’s a golden warmth in the hue, a quiet nod to both the bourbon cask’s influence and the years spent earning that depth.

Aroma

Bright, inviting aromas of vanilla bean and toasted coconut open the experience. Beneath the sweetness, a gentle oak spice emerges, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of charred marshmallow from the Heaven Hill bourbon influence.

Palate

Silky and full-bodied, with an initial burst of sweet malt and caramelised pear. The bourbon cask imparts classic notes of vanilla fudge, crème brûlée, and light toffee. Mid-palate, warming oak spice and a whisper of pepper add depth without overshadowing the spirit’s natural sweetness.

Long, smooth, and gently drying. Lingering flavours of honeyed malt, soft oak, and a final echo of bourbon-soaked fruit leave a warm and comforting impression, a fitting tribute to a legacy of excellence.
