Aroma

Juniper leads. Green pine, resinous, unmistakably gin, like sea air over a pine-edged shore. Behind it, bright citrus zest opens up sweet orange first, then a sharper lemon edge. Coriander provides aromatic bridging, and a faint floral whisper from cardamom and orris lifts the whole bouquet rather than declaring itself.

Palate

Clean, dry entry. Juniper arrives first, then quickly opens into citrus oils, orange leading lemon. Cubeb pepper prickle builds across the back palate, peppery and faintly allspice-like.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Good George London Dry Gin
  • 120ml Indian tonic water
  • Generous twist of fresh orange peel
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Fill a heavy tumbler generously with ice.
  2. Pour in the Good George London Dry Gin.
  3. Top with Indian tonic water — pour slowly down the side of the glass to keep the fizz.
  4. Cut a wide strip of orange peel and twist it firmly over the glass to release the oils.
  5. Drop the twist in and serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • 75ml Good George London Dry Gin
  • 15ml dry vermouth
  • 1 lemon twist, for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Add ice to a mixing glass and let it chill for 30 seconds.
  2. Pour in the Good George London Dry Gin and dry vermouth.
  3. Stir slowly and deliberately for around 45 seconds — you want it cold, diluted just right, and silky.
  4. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
  5. Express a lemon twist over the surface, run it around the rim, and drop it in.
