CRAFT BEER

Craft beer is brewed in smaller batches with a big focus on flavour, quality, and creativity, unlike regular beer, which is usually mass-produced with consistency and volume in mind. At Good George, we handcraft all our beer right here in New Zealand using fresh ingredients and a whole lot of love. It’s beer made by brewers, not boardrooms.

It depends on the style! Some craft beers; like IPAs or stouts, can pack a punch with higher ABVs, while others are lighter and more session-able for easy sipping. At Good George, our range has something for everyone, whether you’re after a bold brew or a mellow crowd-pleaser.

Lager is a style of beer, not a category; so yes, it can definitely be a craft beer. When brewed with care, fresh ingredients, and creative intent, even a classic lager can be part of the craft movement. Our Good George Lager is a perfect example: crisp, refreshing, and handcrafted with a Kiwi twist.
