Spiced Hot Chocolate Espresso Martini

While our Christmases tend to not be very cold, sometimes a hot choc treat still hits the spot. We’ve spiced our espresso martini up in this recipe to make a warming coffee cocktail that’s as rich as it is delicious. 


½ bottle of Espresso Martini

500mL cream

1 cinnamon quill

1 orange (for the peal)

5-8 squares of dark chocolate

Pinch of ginger

Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Sugar (optional)


(makes two servings) 

1. In a saucepan combine the Espresso Martini, 300mL cream, chocolate, cinnamon, spices, optional sugar, and orange peal on a low heat to allow the chocolate to melt and combine.

2. Stir thoroughly, then remove cinnamon and orange peel before splitting evenly between two mugs

3. Whip the remaining 200mL cream, layer on top with shavings of orange peel and enjoy
