We are beyond thrilled to announce that we have taken home a trophy and multiple medals at this year's NZ Beer Awards held by the Brewers Guild of New Zealand! We’re are so proud on what Good George Brewing has produced with an amazing 100% of our beers entered being awarded a medal.
The teams hard work, passion, and dedication to brewing the finest beers have truly paid off. A huge thank you to our amazing team for their relentless efforts!

That's not all
Our Director/Founder Brain Watson also got presented with the Brewers Guild of New Zealand Honorary Fellowship award.
He does a mountain for work for the industry, often behind the scenes. He has held various roles including judge, table captain, member of the Awards Advisory panel, Director on the Guild board and the current Chair. He fronts up to the media without complaint, and cheers on everyone, team members, fellow brewers and competitors.
He has been a positive pillar of strength for the Guild and the industry, and his energy and enthusiasm encapsulate what the industry is about.
His dedication and commitment to the industry is significant and deserves to be recognised with the Guild’s highest Honour – Congratulations Brian Watson we are all extremely proud of you!!!
