Taproom Series #4 - Nectar Of The Gods Apricot Mango Hazy IPA

If we had to pick a favourite Greek God to embody our latest Taproom Series release, it’d definitely be Dionysus whose remit includes parties, fruitfulness, festival and general debauchery. He's also the god of the grape-harvest, winemaking and wine, of fertility, orchards and fruit, vegetation, insanity, ritual madness, religious ecstasy, festivity and theatre in ancient Greek religion and myth.

We crafted this brew as a tribute incorporating fresh apricot and mango with a rich hazy beer base for a full bodied smoothie-like beer layered with tropical fruit. Nectar of the Gods is the fourth release in our Taproom Series, which are a limited run of releases due to sell out each time.

It's fairly strong at 6.5%, looks golden and hazy, and has aromas of fruity hops, ripe mangoes, and apricot. On the palate it's juicy, thick, and mouthcoating with a balanced bitterness. Note this beer also contains lactose.
